Made of Waves collects only the information needed to process orders, fulfill shipments, and support customers after purchase. Sensitive payment information is handled by Stripe, not stored directly by this site.
Information collected
- Name, email address, and shipping address provided during checkout.
- Order details such as purchased items, shipping charges, and fulfillment status.
- Technical and payment-session metadata needed to confirm payment and complete the order workflow.
How it is used
- To process payments through Stripe and ship orders through the selected fulfillment tools.
- To provide order updates, respond to support requests, and resolve delivery issues.
- To maintain internal order records required for fulfillment and customer support.
Payment data
- Card numbers, CVC values, and other sensitive payment fields are handled by Stripe.
- Made of Waves does not store raw card information on the storefront or ops dashboard.
- Stripe may retain and process payment data under Stripe's own policies and compliance obligations.
Sharing and retention
- Customer data is shared only with service providers needed to complete payment and shipping, such as Stripe and Shippo.
- Order records are kept for operational, accounting, and support purposes.
- Information is not sold to third parties.
